We specialise in cleaning and collimation of all compound (Schmitt-Casserain & RASA, Ritchey-Chrietien and Maksutov) Optical Tube Assemblies (OTA's) or Telescopes for short. Achromat and Apochromatic Refractors up to 150mm aperture are also catered for.

From cleaning mirrors, tube flocking with our exclusive InfinitiBlackV3 coating, fixing dents and tube scratches to restoring 200 year old telescopes we've done it all. For the past 10 years we have carried out these for our existing StellarDrive and StellarTune Mount customers, and now offer this to anyone who needs it.

Our new dedicated Optics Cleanroom is naturally dust free, thanks to its own ElectroStatic and HEPA triple filtration system which also features a long custom optical Test Bench, and collimation equipment to handle up to 16" (400mm) aperture, and 3 metre physical length for the biggest telescopes. We are working towards ISO certification as part of this huge upgrade.

We can also star test and validate optics under mag 20+ skies on-site if required.

After working a paint manufacturer, and after extensive development and testing since 2018, we have been painting flocking our telescopes with InfinitiBlackV3 Coating System. This latest version is so good, we had to release it to the whole community. Stocks are currently being prepared so you can try it yourself.

This paint boosts contrast and colour, as well as reducing graduation. Dust lanes are more defined than before, that just add more detail to your astro-imaging.
