We currently collect and ship mounts to over 50 countries and depending on country, we use the best courier for your consignment and provide tracking details. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Upon arrival the mounts are unpacked, photographed and graded, assigned a job number and then entered into our production schedule. Up to 50% of our production capacity is pre-booked advance, in any given month (which is the fastest schedule), but we do maintain slots to maintain a faster turnaround, for example, star parties and repair.

Key to this is any accurate portrayal of your mounts condition, and if it has been tuned or modified. Over a third of the mounts currently arriving to our workshop have undeclared modifications, which causes delays.

Our work is backed up on all other rebuilt and StellarTune™ and StellarDrive™ customer used mount rebuilds from 01/2024, with a reassuring and industry-leading One year worldwide RTB mechanical warranty.

An up to 6 month* RTB mechanical warranty for older Restoration and Legacy mounts up to 25 years old in stock condition, subject to evaluation and condition. These mount warranties are unmatched in the industry for any used and resold mounts.

We can accept DIY, modded EQ mounts up to 10 years for rebuild as a StellarTune or StellarDrive EQ Mount (subject to owner declaration). All other mounts over 10 years old are classed as restoration or legacy work, and therefore may take longer to do, depending on condition. For mounts older than 10 years, please get in touch via email first and supply photos for appraisal and a fixed price quotation, and will do our best to help where we can.

Most UK shipping is 1-2 days each way, Europe 2-4 days and Rest of World 3-5+ days, depending on region.

We offer our Two Way courier service to all customers worldwide
(and for the UK only - our Three Way courier service where we will send you a box if you don't have the original).

We arrange Courier collection of your boxed mount and ship back when completed. Plus we complete all Shipping and Customs paperwork (both ways), so just have to simply email you the courier label for printing, before collection.

If you're outside the UK and don't have the original box the mount came in you can purchase a box and also packaging from most hardware stores, US Home Depots, some courier companies or online. For mounts up to 22kg the box should be heavy duty and at least double walled - size 50cm long x 50cm wide and 30cm high . Bubble wrap and/or foam and loose fill chips can be used for packing the mount inside the box.

EUROPE (EU) - EASY 2 WAY COURIER SERVICE
For mounts up to 21kg - HEQ5, AZEQ6GT - NEQ6/R etc.. the cost will be up to £110.00 for our two way service. Usually less for smaller mounts.
For larger mounts over 21kg up to 35kg the cost will be from £185.00 for our 2 way service dependant on mount and country. (eg. HDX110/CG-X/G11/EQ8/CGEM etc...)
