StellAssured - Another Industry 1st!

We rebuild these mounts and engineer them so they can last decades. Every year, as small number of our mounts come up for sale either privately, or on either Social Media Platforms or specialist sites, like AstroBuysell.com

To ensure the quality and longevity of our rebuilds, we can offer you as a private seller or a buyer a unique level of support to help resale and purchase. This is called StellAssured.

It comes with a 90 day warranty, and a 15% discount voucher for a service or rebuild which is valid for 2 years from date of issue.

Any of our StellarTune or StellarTune mounts, from mount number 0400 onwards can be sent in to us for a check and test, backlash adjustment and clean either prior to sale, or after purchase. We just need the mount number if you have it. The majority of mounts for resale still have some time before recommended servicing which is usually around 5-7+ years. 

If it does require a full service, this is not the cost of a full tuning rebuild as that work has already been done.

Our Service 60 Plus starts from just £169 and has a 1 year cover, but does not come with a transferrable warranty. 
We recommend this as the preferred option, if you have purchased the mount elsewhere.

This is not currently available for larger mounts over the EQ6/EQ6-R, like the EQ8, but is in planning for later release. Please contact us for details.

*note: only covers all StellarTune and StellarDrive rebuilds supplied by ourselves from mount number 400 onwards, up to 18kg head weight. Does not include Meade, Vixen, Takahashi, or custom modified mounts outside our original build types.
