The QHY5-II improves on the original QHY5 for guiding and planetary imaging applications. Unlike the older camera the QHY5-II has reduced banding and improved high FPS performance: up to 170fps @ 400 x 400 with a quantum efficiency (QE) of 56%. Low weight and compact size makes the new QHY5-II the ideal guide camera with useful planetary imaging capability. Camera is 1.25" EP diameter and now has a native C mount as standard.
Supplied in a handy storage box with USB & ST4 Cables, 1.25" Extension (threaded for filters), 1.25" Parfocalising Ring, Windows (XP, 7 and 8) drivers and capture software.
The camera is also supported by PHD, MetaGuide, Firecapture, SharpCap and software using the ASCOM platform.
